Şişli Municipality started education mobilization six months ago and it has changed the faces of the schools in the borough.
Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül started all the works to fullfil the needs of the educational establishments in the borough and today the the same activities are continuing.
The inner and outer facades of the schools in Şişli are now being renewed by painting, the classrooms are being repaired, the ones which do not have the natural gas are now being connected to the natural gas and the old installations of the schools are being changed; library, laboratory and gyms are being made and additions are made to the ones which do not have adequate classrooms.
According to our laws, there is no compulsory duty imposed to the municipalities for this purpose and in despite of this fact, with the complete consciousness of modernization and the importance given to the education, Şişli Municipality will continue this duty.
Our Municipality believes that every local administration, every administration an deven every individual must support the education with the limits of the possibilities and in this respect, our Municipality has the principal of working together.
In order to provide our children contemporary education in modern environments our activities will continue to provide computer network, laboratory and gyms to the schoold of our borough.
