Our Municipality continues it’s activities without interruption to make our borough a city of culture-art again like it was mentioned in the operettes of the past.
Every summer, our Municipality organizes free-of-charge theatre shows in 28 neighbourhoods and through this activity, our citizens are able to watch the famous theater players.
These theatre activities are carried out in open air during summer while the same is carried out in the theatre salons of the elementary schools and high schools during the winter time.
In the leadership of Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, Şişli Symphony Orchestra continues it’s rehearsals since February 2004.
The culturel athmosphere is enriched by the free-of-charge theatre shows, concerts, panels and conversations, exhibitions, memorial meetings for the poets and authors, international festivals and feasts which are all organized by our Municipality.
